Sorry for the lack of blogs this week, kinda had a shock in parents health that took priority to cyber life. Nothing can give a person a harder reality check than a medical scare.
What was meant to be a standard annual medical review turned into a panic, well for mum that was. Her normal blood pressure was sky high, so high in fact she was put on immediate medication and I am on orders to bring her back next week to book ECG scans etc. She needless to say panicked further which was no help at all. So the rest of the day was spent calming her down and putting in place some ground rules to help her lower the blood pressure.
It has been a bit fraught to start with, but slowly over the last few days she actually looks a lot better than she has for months.and is doing more. This could be nothing, but when husband even notices it there must be something happening.
We are back there next Tuesday to see what happens next, but for now that's where we stand in limbo.
