December magazine freebie alert

Along with the Glamour and other magazines offering freebies I stumbled across one other. Company magazine isn't usually on my reading list, but now I have time on my hands I thought I would give it a chance.

So on my daily hop (outing) I was surprised to see it came it with a choice of two nail polishes, either company vamp or company crimson, my choice was decided by the fact the W H Smiths I went to only had the crimson. It is from the Jessica range, a company I have as yet not heard of. So I had a quick look on the great world of cyber to find out it is an American base company, focusing mainly on nails. The costs on their site isn't to bad when you do the conversion to £s but I didn't check out the p&p charges .

That said the colour didn't come out quite the way I had hoped, it looked like blood red colour but when applied to my nail it had a deep pink tinge. After two coats it did have a high gloss on the colour, but the colour was so thin it still looks uneven and a third coat will be required to stop it seeming like a tinted sheen and make it more like a nail polish.

The magazine is £2 and that alone is worth the money, its nice to receive a freebie, but don't just buy it for the free nail polish.
