Rimmel I am impressed

I am notorious for losing eyeliners and in this week alone I have surpassed my all time record with in as many weeks. So in sheer desperation I hopped into a chemist today to get another one. This time to be stored in my handbag in the vain hope of being able to use it more than twice.

Now I have noticed something recently and that is rimmel stands in little independent chemists sell products at less than big chains like Superdrug and Boots. Today was no exception I got a Scandaleyes waterproof kohl for £2.99 £2 off the RRP. I know it was more a purchase of desperation, but as readers of my blog will know I am fussy over my eyeliners.

Well I happily can report this is one of the softest kohls I have had the benefit of using in years. OK it is not perfect for thin lines that pens can achieve, but for the light smudge line I like to give my eyes some shape and definition, it is perfect. I am so impressed I am seriously considering nipping back and buying a few more for when I lose this one, which will happen at some point.  

I can also happily report it didn't make my eyes water or any of the redness that I can suffer from on harsher pencils. It also stayed put all day yet came off with a baby wipe when I went to bed. SO it ticks all my boxes. My I suggest if you like this kind of eyeliner head towards your nearest independent chemist with a rimmel stand for it as even on the 3 4 2 offer at Superdrug it is still more expensive there.
