Just got a pleasant surprise whilst being dragged round the supermarket. Attached to the front of More magazine ( Price £1.50) was a freebie that made the outlay viable.
Personally I don't really like the magazine but free with it was either one of two gifts models own lip gloss or nail polish. I don't really dig lip gloss as I find most of them tacky on my lips but there was a nude nail polish that I had to try. There is a choice of two colours in both products and I actually managed to steer away from the red. The best way to describe the nude when on the nail is a lighter version of Jermayne Street by Nails Inc.
I have never tried Models Own nail polish before and to be honest I am quite impressed. A single coat gives a god coverage and good sheen. The colour is nice enough, not really a festive colour but a good reserve for normal days.
For the money of a magazine that also gives you a free card for miss selfridge value anything between £1 -£500, it is worth the purchase. Have a look out for the colour you want though. I had to hunt to back of the shelf for the nail polish I wanted and it seemed the nail polish copies were more popular than the lip gloss. If nothing else it would make a good stocking filler.
