It isn't an over night cure, but between my tea tree oil and of all thinks diprobase cream my skin is feeling almost normal.
Diprobase is only the chemical name for the cheap aqueous cream you can pick up from any pound shop. I happened to have it do to the fact like every one else in my family I m plagued with very dry skin on my arms and legs. Purely by accident I put some on my face as I reached for the wrong cream with out my glasses on. The results were pleasing to say the least. considering the fact my forehead was pealing and covered in spots prior, but now at least the pealing dry skin has subsided.
It got me thinking how much money do we throw to the wind paying high prices for creams and potions that just don't work, and overlooking the old faithfuls. Its like with medicines for coughs and colds, I still swear by vicks, coltsfoot rock and raspberry vinegar over bottles and pills that break the bank and do little else. And I positivity blanch at the idea of spending £100 on a skin care cream.
At the end of the day a successful product is not achieved by the price tag, but by the result. So although I test and try many products, don't think I just choose from the top end of the market, if a £1 product rates better than a £50 one, I know which one I will recommend. Sure I like my little luxuries, but I keep them to ones that really benefit me rather than having a name on my dressing table.
