I cheated, and freely admit it.. I refused to go sales shopping I used the wonderful inter web and it has been surprising impressed.
First of all I gave into temptation and used L'Ocitane mail order and finally bought my Angelica starter set to get my skin sorted. I also bought a lavender hand gel for days out and about, and used my free shea butter hand cream voucher. So I was expecting a nice little package, however as I ticked the free gift wrap I expected it to arrive in one bit.. What I didn't expect was the hand packed gift box it arrived in. Talk about caring for the customer L'Ocitane goes that extra mile. If you ever want to send a pre wrapped present via their web site I can't recommend the site enough. They did say it would arrive 5-7 working days, mine arrive in less than 3 I ordered late on the 9th and by 11 am on the 12th in was in my hands.
Then I got an email I could not resist, Bayliss and Harding online has 50% of Christmas stock. So off I went for a browse, well who wouldn't? Anyway unsurprisingly the original set I had my eyes on was gone, but inside I picked up a set of gingerbread bath foam and vanilla frosting body cream for £4 instead of £8 and a vanilla frosting foot cream with soft socks for £3 instead of £6. Available here http://baylisandharding.com/SALE?range=97%2C112%2C136 . Granted UPS postage is a little high and there is no other option but if you are stocking up it will be worth it. The only let down is there isn't a given delivery time rang so it is case of sit and wait.
So now I am guarding the mail box waiting for the delivery of my little treats. But it certainly beats the crush of people and bitter cold. As we are all facing snow I can't imagine doing my shopping any other way.
