My 1st Laura Mercier set

It finally arrived 6 days from when I ordered it. My la petite patisserie quartet in creme de pistache, from SpaceNK and I am really happy.

I have never ordered from SpaceNK and to be honest I am still annoyed about the £5 delivery charge. So when I order next time I will make sure I order more than one thing to make it less painful. I am however impressed with this set and see why it was originally £25. so to get it in the sale for £12.50 was an absolute steal. The text I got at 10am was a shock telling me when it would be delivered and gave me 3 text options if this was inconvenient 1) leave with a neighbour (and it listed which one) 2) delivery on Weds or 3) delivery on Thurs. This was a pleasant surprise and appreciated, so was the driver who came. He was cheerful and patient, both unusual qualities in delivery drivers.

I couldn't wait to get into the well packaged box. Inside was not only my purchase but two free face masks. That was a more than a pleasant surprise and I will write them up separately. But the main package was a lovely black box, containing inside 4 items from the range. a body lotion, hand cream, body wash and perfume. Needless to say I couldn't resist trying the perfume. As advised it does start by smelling  very like my all time favourite Thierry Mugler's Angel. But once warmed up it is a fraction less sweet, not that this is a bad thing. I have now a second favourite perfume in this, although like Angel it normally comes with a hefty price tag of £45 a bottle.

This is certain a new fragrance for the new year, at least for me.

I do know that once I break down the set the box is going to find a new job as it such a gorgouse red and black box. But that won't be for a while.. I have so far tried both the perfume and the hand cream and I am more than impressed with both. So much so I am more than tempted to try other sets by Laura Mercier.
