Another virginity is officially lost, a belated unexpected birthday present arrived today. My first ever pair of Kandee shoes, Rotella from the skinny bitch range and once on my feet I can say I LOVE THEM.
By love I mean I have fallen for them look, feel everything. They are comfortable to wear, even at the height of them which is higher than my normal choice. In fact my physio is right they help the pain in my back rather than create more. From the moment I put them on they fitted, and I immediately stood straighter. I am officially converted to this brand. Prior to today I admired their design and style, now it a whole different world of love.
There is a couple of reasons I really wanted to promote Kandees, they are fairly new on the market, designed by a 22 year old man. For a designer so young he has capture a modern style that is wearable and realistically priced. But their is something classic about them, the pair I now own has a 60's feel to them which has proven to be dateless, thus like the the little black dress a stable in every woman's wardrobe..
To be honest I thought my days of wearing heels of such height was long gone, but the balance of the shoe made it possible for me to walk with my crutches and surprisingly with out them for short spaces. That in itself was an unexpected surprise and has caused me to be squealing all morning with joy. It may sound shallow to be excited over a pair of shoes, but it's the fact I can now finally look classy and be able to move at the same time.
A lot of ladies lust after other established big name brands, but I say look out for Kandees they may not have the recognisable coloured soles or fancy designer names of others, but they are just as good, if not better, the styles are fresh and the over all theme of candy based designs, is unique and fresh. I my have only just got my first pair, but it won't be my last. I can't wait for the new range to be released, as I have now made a concious decision that I need to save and invest in one pair of quality shoes rather than a couple of pairs of a cheaper make than aren't as well made and end up falling apart.
Kandee's have a convert and it's all down to a generous birthday present from a kind friend, who gave me a pair to cheer me up. Shoes are like friendships, it's the quality of the friendship not the quanity or material value of them that counts. I choose quality every time.
